Slate V: Life Imitates “The West Wing”
Slate digs into the similarities between the most recent presidential election in the real world and on the West Wing. The video was made back in February, but it’s even more interesting now. (Nuclear meltdown taking Vinick out at the knees at the last minute == economic meltdown taking McCain out at the knees at the last minute?)
EVERY 30 gig Zune died last night →
marco:
This is hilarious. A software bug made every 30GB-model Zune crash last night at 2 AM, and they won’t reboot properly.

Photos? Hell yes!
It’s funny how my only online property that doesn’t fit under my “banterability” moniker is arguably the strongest brand I have. If you search Google for Poppyseed Bandits, you get 1,900 results, all of which are pictures I’ve taken and uploaded to Flickr being used by somebody else under the Creative Commons license I tag everything with.
I indulged in a little...

I’ve come to find that there are two kinds of vacations. On some trips, you’re excited to go to a place. On others, you’re more eager to leave a place.
On that note: Goodbye Los Angeles.

Really excited to see that the last four years of my musical taste are finally starting to sneak up on the handful of depressing tracks that wedged themselves (seemingly permanently) at the top of my most frequently played tracks list at Last.fm during the last few years of high school.
